This development comprised the refurbishment/rebuilding of six barns of various ages at Boxhill Surrey. Work required varied between partial to full demolition. In all cases substantial foundation remedial work was required.

The following images shown the various barns in their original condition, the stages of refurbishment and the barns once all of the work was completed, carried out by Devon Structural Engineers, JJO Associates.

New foundations and intricate timber repair was necessary to maintain the character of the barn.
   Nearing Completion.

The roof to this barn had completely collapsed although the primary trusses were salvaged.

This barn was beyond repair and was rebuilt. The Larger barn to the left was refurbished.
   This barn had little hope of salvage !
